Updated submission deadline?

I refreshed the page today after about a week and noticed that the submission deadline now says August 22 instead of August 1. Just wanted to confirm that this is legit and not a typo or an error of some sort.

    Hi Palash, Good question! We announced yesterday that there was a deadline extension. All participants at the time would have received the below email.

    Our project fits into several tracks. Can we submit it to multiple tracks?

    Hi Anom, Within your submission, you should be able to select a main track and then a secondary track. A single project can only win a maximum of either one (1) Grand Prize, one (1) Track Prize, or one (1) Pool Prize.

    Hi, Michelle, missed out on submission yesterday due to network issues and some miscalculations because i was assuming i had already submitted. Any hope of submitting now? Really sad because i had something awesome set out already.
